RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME
About Grange Lea
Grange Lea was founded in 1985 by Daniel and Joyce Whaley as a small family run care home offering care for elderly ladies and gentlemen.
Daniel and Joyce did a wonderful job and under their stewardship, Grange Lea cultivated a first-class reputation as the premier care home in Ponteland and one of the best in Northumberland.
In March 2019, Daniel and Joyce retired after providing excellent care to the elderly people of Ponteland for over 30 years. At this juncture, Jacqueline Murray became the new owner and manager of Grange Lea.
Jacqueline has over 25 years’ experience as a care home manager and owner. She is a Registered General Nurse, Diploma Nurse and holds a Registers Manager Award.
"I am passionate about looking after people properly and giving them the respect they deserve. I personally supervise all care at Grange Lea; my highly trained staff and I take personal pride in the service we provide"

Jacqueline’s vision is to support all of our residents to live independently in a manner of their choosing whilst offering outstanding personalised care.
