RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME
About Grange Lea
Grange Lea was founded in 1985 by Daniel and Joyce Whaley as a small family run care home offering care for elderly ladies and gentlemen.
Daniel and Joyce did a wonderful job and under their stewardship, Grange Lea cultivated a first-class reputation as the premier care home in Ponteland and one of the best in Northumberland.
In March 2019, Daniel and Joyce retired after providing excellent care to the elderly people of Ponteland for over 30 years. At this juncture, Jacqueline Murray became the new owner with Scott Fraser taking over as Manager.

The family has over 25 years’ experience in providing intimate and person-centric care with the focus on providing a home away from home for our residents.

"We are passionate about looking after people properly and giving them the respect they deserve. We personally supervise all care at Grange Lea; our highly trained staff take personal pride in the service we provide"
Scott Fraser - Manager

In 2025 Grange Lea entered a new era with a brand new, purpose built garden area being added to the home.
