Working in close partnership with Health and Beauty professionals

We believe that to provide the best possible care service we need to work closely with health professionals to support our residents to live full and meaningful lives, in a manner of their choosing.

 

We have a range of healthcare professionals who regularly visit our home. These include: 

 

General Practitioner – a weekly GP round is conducted within Grange Lea every Tuesday

Community Nurses visit regularly

Optician service which is dedicated to Grange Lea

Dentist – dental check-ups are conducted six-monthly

Audiologists

Chiropodists & podiatrists – both NHS and private

Physiotherapist – a qualified physio attends every week to do an exercise class with our residents

Mental health teams

Palliative care teams

 

We also have PAT (Pets as Therapy) dogs which visit the care home every three weeks. 

 

In addition to healthcare professionals, we work closely with various beauty professionals. Our hairdresser visits every week and our staff regularly provide hand massages and manicures to residents.
